- a line which has resonated with me since Emma Stone's Award Acceptance speech at the 74th Annual Golden Globes.
To ring in the weekend, I threw myself into a series of events which allowed me to express my creativity and apart from being present at those events, I was still itching for more.
Perfect timing, because what better way to celebrate creativity than to go to Markets (not the wet-market or the supermarket but a bazaar-like 'market') such as the Sunny Side Up Market @ The Row. This was my first time in this part of town, although I've driven past it numerous times. The Row adapts 1940s, vintage-styled shophouses into a row of independent offices, cafes, bars, shops and an exciting event space.
Upon thanking my lucky stars that I had found parking, Shamee and I walked into the event space that was large enough to house quite a number of very unique and intriguing vendors which some may have heard of online or have come across, while attending a market like this.
I came across so many hopeful hearts and bright smiles; and even had the chance of meeting so many sweet souls. Not to mention the number of things my eyes spotted and lighted up for!
